Guest neesy111
Defensively he's better than our other fullbacks.
The College Dropout
Solid as ever. Looked comfortable at CB. Glad he’s back. He and Lascelles stay fit we’ll get more clean sheets.
Dr.Spaceman
Yup, I'm not his biggest fan but he was okay last night, considering who it was against and his first game in 3 months.
Guest
Really? There were at least three occasions where he was deeper than everyone else and playing them onside, one moment where it almost cost us. His distribution was as poor as ever. It was the system that made us look comfortable in general.
Kanji
Sooner he's back playing LB for us the better - hopefully he starts this weekend. He still is very odd with the ball, but I'd rather count on him tackling and marking which he'll get more comfortable with, being out for so long. sbnufc
fucking long balls man. shite edit: the long balls, that is He's decent enough for now defensively
Conjo
What he can do with a football, Moke Williamson can do with an orange.
Kanji
Was one towards the end where he let the ball run across him to his left and then ran backwards a bit to set up a hoofed ball that we didn't win he could have just trapped it and played the ball with his left to left wing or same area too... HaydnNUFC
Solid off the ball. Horrendous on it.
Guest Howaythetoon
Awful footballer, OK defender. Needs replaced.
triggs
I thought he was fine but even if he was shit it was his first game in over 4 months so it would be to be expected

Guest
It's to be expected because we've been used to it for 3 years not just because of his injury.

The hoofing yes but I don't think he would have let Aguero in behind for that chance if he was up to speed. Was better than Mbemba on the other side IMO
aussiemag
Awful on the ball. Kills our ability to hold the ball down the left every time.
shakey jake
Manquillo is better
The College Dropout
Kills our ability to play sexy, free-flowing football we have been used too down the left.
Darth Crooks
It's always the same, perfectly adequate athletically and defensively. Fucks everything going forward.
aussiemag
Kills our ability to play sexy, free-flowing football we have been used too down the left. He does a good job defensively, but he pretty much gives the ball away every time He receives it.
Guest firetotheworks
Just another example of a player being out doing wonders for their reputation in the mind's eye of fans.
triggs
Been good defensively. He's as he always was on the ball
aussiemag
37 year old Bruno looks different class to Paul.
Guest neesy111
Been good defensively. He's as he always was on the ball Aye, no issue with what he did defensively. Opposite are RB where yedlin is decent going forward but pretty poor at defending.
The College Dropout
Just another example of a player being out doing wonders for their reputation in the mind's eye of fans. Nah Manquillo cannot defend very well. Paully D in the side with Lascelles, we'll start picking up clean sheets.
Guest
Is being able to pass the ball to a team mate who's further than 15-20 yards away not part of being good defensively? How the f***ing hell is he any good defensively when every ball he tries down the line is blocked, intercepted, breaks down an attack and we have to defend yet a f***ing gain? Gets away with murder this bloke.
