Guest reefatoon
On balance though, I would leave him in for the next two games. Best chance to get some goals and get some confidence back. Me too. Jonas is out so that will open the door for Marveaux hopefully. Maybe we can get some decent end product if we can get the ball into the final third and get some players in the box. Pardew said he will put a more offensive team out this weekend. . . . . Pardew . . . . . That's going to be Shola and Obertan starting.

ujpest doza
Speaking of Bigi.... is he even fit? didn't play a single minute of pre season did he? He captained the Under 21 team on saturday.
AyeDubbleYoo
It's our best team really, minus Santon and Cabaye.
colinmk
We might actually stand a chance if he is forced to play an attacking lineup.

Disco
If Santon if fit I'd play him ahead of Dummett given he's first choice and pre-season/training has probably consisted of him playing there more so you'd imagine (or at least like to hope) there'd be some prior understanding there with the rest of the back 4. Guest chopey
Rob Lee is in the number 9 bar before the game, so I'll go there and then order a chinese on my new app to be delivered to my seat at half time,

Cabaye is fine it's Pardew doing the flapping of the gums. As for santon I don't know but I'd happily see Dummett pick up from where he left off. Your spot on mate its far too attacking because Pardew only knows how to contain the opposition by sitting back and not getting tight. I watched villa last night and they got it right pressed aggressively and got tight giving Chelsea a hard Time to break them down.

Yeah, i was watching the Spurs game thinking, if we had took the lead we would have sat back and made them look good. Spurs just buried them. I wonder what Pardew thinks when he's watching other games, he's not daft and he must enjoy watching teams play well. Why he then gets us to play the way he does just baffles me. Also managers watch games back on video later. Does he enjoy watching us play the way we do when he's not on the touchline when it can appear different. How can he just continue with the same stuff he himself must see as poor.

Given the things he says though maybe its a case of negative thoughts = negative actions?
