Guest bimpy474
Dummett on for Shola. Santon to left wing Marveaux to right wing. Benny in behind Cisse almost as a second striker. Or Gouffran for Shola.

Chrisjraby
Clueless once we get to their half; defending at set pieces has been worrying as well. Shola is so shit its not even a joke now, simple not fit to wear the shirt.
madras
This ain't NUFC V WHUFC, this is pardew v allardyce.
themanupstairs
Two number 9s = no link between midfield and strikers. I don't know why Pardew keeps making the same mistake. We're getting into some decent situations, but then snatching at them. Seriously?
Ronaldo
A lot would argue this (without Cabaye) is our most productive midfield. Guess what, it produces f*** all. Midfield isn't really the issue its the shit shower of a final third which is the problem and has been for ages. And who the hell is responsible for creating chances in the final third? nemtizz
There's no way in hell Shola starts for any other PL team, even the 3 promoted clubs.

High Five o
We actually look like a functioning football team today, not brilliant but much better. Is this ironic? We have no clue what we are doing No movement, have we even had a clear cut chance? Firt homegame of the season and we are as bad as we have ever been
r0cafella
It's depressing, Southampton have Osvaldo and Ramirez on the bench, I guess that explains why they are losing

Irrelevant, we have better players than Shola on the bench. The idiot in charges just refuses to utilize them.

Midfield and strikers don't operate as separate units. Both are responsible for opening up chances. I agree with MT. It's the inability of the strikers to link that's holding us back. alexf
Just the pure lack of attacking nous is shocking. I mean we're in the same situation again, If Ben Arfa goes down with another injury this season where exactly do our chances come from? I know he's been a bit selfish and wayward with his shooting but honestly there is nothing else on at the mo.

Well yeah i was pointing out the midfield two is what i quite like, not going to deny that the wide players are doing f*ck all and the strikers have been useless. Roke
There's no way in hell Shola starts for any other PL team, even the 3 promoted clubs. I'm not sure Shola would start for an MLS side outside of Toronto FC. I think we've looked okay. Nothing in the final third and a couple of worrying moments defensively but aside from absolutely nothing in the final third there hasn't been anything horrible.
