Yorkie
If Krul left, you could take his career and objectively use it as a perfect summary of our club atm. For Tim Krul to have gone from: prospect - to brilliant - to average - to sold... would be one of the most depressing narratives of the Ashley era yet. Two years ago there was absolutely nothing stopping him from becoming one of our longest ever serving players, and one of our best ever goalkeepers. You can say similar about various other players from the Pardew era. Utterly depressing. Not that we'd sell him for £10m.
sempuki
Various Sunday rags are running with this. One of them (not sure which one - was on Twitter) said we are after Cech who is available due to Courbois coming back. £10m for Krul and a world-class keeper for presumably less sounds like a deal we would like. LRD
Cech. Won't be cheap, on the wrong side of 30, and doubt if he wants to come even if we do show interest.

thomas
Imagine making an offer so bad a mid table Mexican side labels it derisory. Just imagine that for a minute. Then realize it's exactly what's going to happen.
Ronaldo
Why imagine that? We made derisory offers for James Perch and (allegedly) Rob Elliot.

Ashley17
Funny thing was I spoke to a Swansea fan the week before we played them up here and he was saying Bony wasn't all that loved at Swansea as in certain games he blatantly couldn't be arsed. Then he cited an example of some Europa game where he barely moved and then snapped a hamstring, he said he wouldn't be surprised if he moved on to better things in the summer
Guest bimpy474
Pardew : Strikers are hard to get over the line. Swansea : If Gomis signs, two strikers in.

Guest bimpy474
The fact we cannot compete with best part of the a Premier league for players now is nothing short of a fucking disgrace Lack of ambition is ridiculous It's not about whether we can compete, financially we can. We just refuse to because our owner is the tightest Billionaire in history. Why spend when he is raking it in with his advertising. Lack of ambition is spot in, but it's a choice by us not because we can't.

Yup we are now in a position where we wouldn't even require a penny of his own money to be somewhat competitive and ambitious yet he still won't allow it. Fat cunt.
