Guest reefatoon
Well Charnley is still on holiday. We will have to wait and see who still doesn't have a club when he decides to get back to work.

Ankles Bennett
Lets not forget that we cant sign anyone until the transfer window opens on 1st July, although I have to confess I dont understand how we were able to sign Colback and Perez before 1st July. Perhaps they havent actually signed yet?

Perhaps they havent actually signed yet? You can sign who you like when you like, as in them signing a contract and you paying a fee, if there is one. It's the registering of the player you can't do outside of the window. Transfer window is a bit misleading but sounds a bit better than registration window i suppose. sempuki
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11678/9358848 There is that put to bed. I think the strategy this Summer is to deny all links then not buy anyone. Genius.

Wallace
Goodness knows who is on their target list (apart from the ones that have no interest in joining) as they seem to disassociate themselves from every linked player.
Dave
Why would we do that?
Disco
Why would we do that? Can only assume they do it to dampen any flickers of hope fans might have or they think you have to pay cash when you're linked to someone.
sempuki
I think this "target list" if there is one will have decent players on it although naturally we will refuse to pay what they are worth. Might as well have a blank piece of paper.
Stifler
I'm so pissed that they guy who is responsible for bringing in players has went on holiday during the transfer window. Not only that but he was on holiday just before the World Cup started, the exact time the club said they wanted to bring in players.

Guest bimpy474
Don't think the transfer window is really a thing we bother about, if we have no intention of buying it doesn't really matter when it opens. Now the pretending to be interested in players when it's actually open is another matter. That's when we give oscar performances of bullshit.

James
MLS have some really handy loans also. Certainly a market worth looking at if the squad is a little short to deal with January to March.

Ameritoon
Watching the game last night I was thinking that Zusi would be Pardews wet dream. Pretty much, he was training with West Ham briefly in 2013 actually. Pardew would love Bedoya even more, runs more + offers less going forward than Zusi. It's nice to know we're at least keeping tabs on MLS, there's a good amount of raw, young talent right now. Pretty sure only a few are ready for the jump to Europe, but a few years time and they could be handy.
