Jewel
It won’t be Mourinho. Apparently he didn’t leave Roma on good terms, and theirs owners are now in charge of Everton.

Decky
You have to laugh at all the dickhead pundits on Talksport etc saying Everton should stick with 3 wins in 19 Sean Dyche because there is no one better to take the job on. If he was Spanish they would've been on him all season.

MagMal
Lol Everton, I actually think this could go wrong for them, Dyche has been there a few years and the team is full of his cloggers, while it is horrible to watch etc if they bring in a manager who wants to play pretty football is that going to work with a load of huff and puff kick'um up in the air lads?, Dyce would probably have kept them up but I think they might have given themselves more issues. Fingers crossed anyway, I would love them to go down.
Gaztoon
Point away from the relegation places.. can't be going into that new stadium and your first home game being QPR or Oxford.

Turnbull2000
Grinding out 0-0 draws and likely keeping them up. Don't what more Everton fans expect. Hopefully this sacking sends them down.
Ronson333
Roma’s three recent managers…This is what Everton fans can expect: Daniele De Rossi Managed Roma for three games in 2024 before being sacked. Ivan Jurić Managed Roma for two months in 2024 before being sacked. Claudio Ranieri Re-appointed as Roma's head coach in November 2024. Ranieri is best known for leading Leicester City to win the Premier League in 2016. He will also serve as an advisor to the club's owners. toontownman
Moyes makes lots of sense. Not convinced he will want it though. Can they spend in January with their takeover done? Or are they still in FFP shit? Definitely scary times of you are an Everyon supporter. On the upside there is a lot of poor teams below and around them in the league. alexf
Tell you what with Dyche. He's from the Steve Bruce school of negativity. Yes he probably just about keeps them up as he has done last few years....but...it's easy for him and same with Bruce with us when they were here to pull the whole "deal the hand your dealt" and woe is me mentality to the media etc and that there is no alternative to negative, survival football. But there is. Yes there is an element of risk to it, but look at the tune Howe has managed to get out of so many of the Bruce legacy players. Yes we signed players and kicked on to be a champions league challenging team. But I have no doubt that even without big investment, However would have had that Bruce squad comfortably mid table. 54
Good to know Everton are still a basket case despite the change of ownership, sacking a manager 3 hours before a match is hilarious. Think overall Dyche has done a good job at Everton all things considered.
