Eddie Howe would be my choice if I was West Bromwich Albion.

If I was Howe, I’d be off to Celtic unless a Premiership team came in. Then, I’d jump to the Premiership again in a couple of years. West Brom are a yo-yo team, never going to have substantial investment. (Fans are great though).

WBA are obviously bigger than Bournemouth but their success under Howe is about their ceiling too. He needs a bigger job, I’d have him here at NUFC easily even under new owners.

Good shout @Manxst - the Rodgers move, essentially. Go compete against Gerrard and Rangers and then come back to the PL with a better team.

I’d like to have seen Spurs take a punt. If they’re selling Kane, expectations will be much lower but still should have the makings of a top 7/8 side.

Howe needs someone who will at least let him spend a bit. I don't see the value in going to another club at the same level as Bournemouth.

So that rules us out? :mackems:

He spent and wasted a fortune at Bournemouth then took them down

Interesting what happens to Wolves this summer. Hope it’s a Southampton situation where they go a spell where they replace a top manager with another one with a similar mindset.

Mourinho might have wished he'd stayed unemployed a bit longer

I think he'd have a full breakdown living in a Premier Inn in Wolverhampton.

He had to spend over the odds to attract people there though. He kept one of the smallest clubs to join the Premier League up for 5 years playing attractive football. Wolves seem to have a model in place, think he’ll do well with better players.

Blimey, didn't think that would happen. Surely another manager who'll be very fondly remembered and get a big send off from the crowd?

Don't know the ins and outs of the situation but I feel like theit regression this season had some mitigating circumstances and he'd more than earned the chance to take try and take them forward.

They sold their best player for an average price and didn’t replace him. Kind of shit we’d do.

Think Neves will probably go. Probably wherever Nuno goes. He’s still good but seems to have gone stale a bit.

Aye. I always feared the owners there would go for Rafa.

I hope Wolves continue that unsustainable Mendes boom-bust model like. Twats.
