Can’t imagine many in the PL wanting to touch him. He's been horrific for a few years now like, should probably just retire or go into international management. Alan Pardew
Looks like I’m applying for the Stoke job lads. Can the King do it on a cold rainy night? Hell yes he can!

gbandit
I like Nuno. Probably a decent appointment. Shame for Cooper but I don’t find him that likeable so whatever

Andy84
We will beat Forest whoever is in charge but yeah Nuno wouldn’t be a bad appointment
WideopenMag
Sounds like Forest are holding talks with Nuno before sacking Cooper, that's an absolute disgrace. Completely disrespectful and embarrassing especially that it's made it to the press.

Yep and it's such a strange move , Nuno has done nothing to suggest he is a better manager than Cooper , did decent at Wolves just like Cooper has at Forest but he was a laughing stock at Spurs and dosnt seem to have done much better in Saudi. Wullie
If you're going to make a decision like that with a popular coach, you've got to take a risk that there's going to be a big upside - as we're now starting to maybe see at Bournemouth, or Pochettino when he went to Saints. Forest fans are going to be sceptical of Nuno from the off but you know what you're going to get with him and it's not particularly exciting or interesting, and he's not a coach on the up. Be very surprised if things work out for the better.
Jaqen
At least they gave Copper that big contract extension last time they were trying to get shot of him so should get a decent pay off. Feel like the treatment of him has been quite bizarre on the whole from the club since they came up.

GeordieDazzler
Forest sounds like a managers nightmare. So much owner interference, apparently Cooper well liked by most in the club but not Maraknackis
joeyt
They're hamstrung by their only decent striker always being injured but they are a really poor team. Feel sorry for Cooper having to blend a completely new team every season but you can't only win 1 out of

Just sloppy to make it public.
mighty__mag
Sad that he's not been given the opportunity to build on what was technically out of his hands last season, poor guy had 24 players thrown at him last season, somehow managed to settle them in the latter half and stay up. I think if you're ever a promoted manager you really have it tough, many never get a chance.
joeyt
Be interested to see where Cooper ends up next. Could see him at Burnley if they sack Kompany. Maybe Palace when they move on from Hodgson? He seems to be in an odd position where people clearly respect him as a coach but this season he's been on a downward spiral and his stock may have dropped quite a bit he was linked with Spurs in the summer

Anderson
Nuno's a bit uninspiring, but can probably see why they've gone for him - did a similar job of establishing Wolves as a PL club with a similar type of ownership/level of squad turnover etc.

Well I'd think maybe quietly put the feelers out and gauge availability and interest not let it be known you've held full blown talks with the bloke still in the job.
