Eh, Conte’s leaving? When did that happen?

When he realised Spurs aren't in this to win trophies unless it happens on a tight budget.

Thats an interesting one, I rate that tbf

Always going to end badly at Watford, who are most responsible for Merry Go Round being in the thread title. Would show Edwards could work in a pressurized environment, though.

Spurs and Everton pulling off massive coups getting in Conte and Ancelotti and then they just fuck off immediately. Must be so frustrating for fans who are like finally, someone that'll take us to the next level.

Can’t tarnish that impeccable image. “I did not lose, simply wasn’t given enough money and my players weren’t good enough” -Conte

[emoji38] such a cunt. He deserves PSG and they deserve him, so why not jump ship? I do admire the brass balls on him.

I'd like to see him at PSG too.

He's a brand name manager which suits.

He doesn't play attractive football which doesn't suit.

His team play with intensity which doesnt suit the personnel.

He'll have money to spend which suits.

Has a poor European competition record which doesn't suit.

Could see his time there ending in a lawSUIT. [emoji38]

FGR confirms the departure of Head Coach Rob Edwards. Rob was a key part of the team that gained promotion to League One this season. We’re disappointed that our support, loyalty and honesty towards Rob has been repaid in this way - with negotiations taking place behind our backs.

We had no contact from Watford, from whom we might expect less, but in any event this kind of behaviour gives football a bad name.

We thank Rob for all his work at FGR - forgive him the manner of his departure and wish him well.

Oooooff

You’re also gonna get paid a shit load

Not to forget that it would be a horrible state of mind to take a job thinking you couldn't do the job well enough to not get sacked. Not that he won't know there's a higher chance at a team like Watford, but I mean, it'd be dumb if he didn't go for it - have some faith in your own abilities.
