The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Will Still Southampton manager

Recommended Posts

That's two of my three gone now. Phelan next on the list; what is it with ex Man Utd no 2s? Perhaps it is just the coach to main man step not being a safe or easy transition.

Bradley, Pardew, and Phelan: a not so happy new year.  Bruce so did the right thing stepping away. Can't see anyone making a positive difference at Hull.

Hull has Pardew's stink all over it.

he'd not go there, knows he'd relegate them

I dunno,  he has a pretty high opinion of himself mind.

suppose it would ultimately depend on the money on the table, i firmly believe pardew would put money ahead of his ego tbh

From his Wiki:

He led the club to the third place in the championship, also winning the Taça de Portugal by beating S.C. Braga 3–1 on penalties after a 2–2 draw in the final. This was Sporting's first piece of silverware since the 2008 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira. On 4 June 2015, four days after winning the trophy, Sporting announced that Silva had been sacked with just cause, for not wearing the club's official suit in a cup match against F.C. Vizela.

Risky one like, suppose they've not much to lose. Sporting finishing 3rd is essentially them finishing bottom of their mini league at the top, and Olympiakos are basically Celtic where it's a waste of time for anyone else turning up.

Hope he does well and condemns Palace and/or the mackems.
