Perhaps it is just the coach to main man step not being a safe or easy transition. Bradley, Pardew, and Phelan: a not so happy new year. Bruce so did the right thing stepping away. Sporting finishing 3rd is essentially them finishing bottom of their mini league at the top, and Olympiakos are basically Celtic where it's a waste of time for anyone else turning up.
