Guest
To be fair it's only really Villa he failed at isn't it? Hardly like he's alone in that.
Raconteur
Aye, they're f***ed in so many ways. Way too harsh on De Boer. If it wasn't for Icardi they'd be bottom 3 easily. He carries that mess of a club. He (Icardi) also partially to blame for some of the mess also. ? Insulted their ultras and a lot of their fans now hate him. Cheered him missing a penalty, I believe. I guess a load of them think he is a bit of a scumbag the way he went on with Maxi Lopez' wife, as well. Different teams and a while ago. But the whole story makes for uncomfortable reading IMO. From what I read, if it gets much worse Icardi will need 24/7 bodyguards. Didn't they threaten to burn his house down or something?

Guest
Did he fail there? Looking at how they are now I'd say he did ok. Took over in 16th going nowhere, had his star striker sold, kept them up easily.

It all stems from an incident involving him chucking his shirt at a kid/Inter fan at the end of a game/defeat and the Ultras took it off the kid and threw it back at him. He wrote his version about it in his autobiography (I think) so when the Ultras found out they unveiled a giant banner the other week insulting him and telling him how they saw the incident in no uncertain terms http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37672984

joeyt
Russell Slade having a pop at Charlton fans tonight for those that enjoy (mild) manager meltdowns Going, going, gone. 8 managers in 3 years for Charlton. Absolute mess of a club these days. They're set to appoint Chris O'Loughlin as their new manager who's only experience as a manager is at AS Vita in the Congo league
Dr.Spaceman
Were they ever considered a big, well-established club? Genuine question by the way, I only know of their stint in the Prem in the early to mid 2000's.
Leazes_End_Mag
Were they ever considered a big, well-established club? Genuine question by the way, I only know of their stint in the Prem in the early to mid 2000's. No chance for me. They punched above their weight for a couple of years with Curbs but they're a Championship club at best imo.
Disco
Had absolutely no time for Charlton like. Pointless placca club albeit what's happening to them now is totally wank.
