What Potter did before coming to England was exceptional, reminded me of Howe in his early Bournemouth days. I can't draw parallels beyond that as it was lower league stuff in weird leagues that I've only seen the results of on Wikipedia, not up close stuff like I've seen of Howe's early career, but I've always thought of things went south with Howe, I'd like to give Potter a chance.

He had taken his last club before Brighton from the third tier in Sweden to the knock-outs in the EL where they beat Arsenal at the Emirates, but being knocked out on aggregate.

That was done with a club that was semi-pro when he arrived. Not Potter's biggest fan myself, but that achievement is pretty much unheard of in European football.

They should have been gone like 4 seasons ago. Every fucking year somehow scrape up enough points with the worst football in the league. Come on. Surely this is the time

They are the turd that just won't flush

They just don't suit being expansive as a team or club, so hopefully the new owners are ignorant enough to try just that.

New owners are American, so no matter what happens it won't be best for the club....either a PFM or 'club legend' or someone totally left field who hasn't got a clue from one of their other clubs

Wouldn’t be able to unfortunately. I’ve got a mate who’s an Everton STH who I always meet up with whenever we play them, he’s spending the whole weekend of the last day of the season up here as it’s bank holiday weekend. Wouldn’t be able to bask in the schadenfreude too much.

Regardless, don’t see them going down anyway. They’ve got some kind of blood magic going on where they’re not allowed to be relegated no matter how shit they are.

If we Send them down - your have to calmly say “excuse me a minute” at the final whistle, go outside of something but somewhere they can see you through a window or something then just celebration and jumping around punching the air. Then come in and just sit down again.

I've warmed a little more to Everlol fans recently. Not half as deluded as some Forest fuckwits who think they're going to win the league or Shite Ham fans who think they have a devine right to be playing free-flowing football 'tha West 'Am way' and winning trophies.

Seemingly at least Everton fans know they're fucking shit.

Considering ?? Should this not be sorted before you sack a manager ? It's like getting rid of your perfectly good car and getting the bus for a few weeks before you start looking for a new one.

This will backfire, never return back to your former employer, things won't be the same.

Seemed to work canny well for Moyes at West Ham.

I mean he won them a European trophy and saw them qualify for Europe for a few seasons too, which in my lifetime is a fair over achievement for them.

SIR Gareth Southgate relegating Everton would be too fucking sweet [emoji38]

Shit like that never happens to me

We don't get proven right. Plus he will expect to join a top club. Still annoyed Man United didn't hire him but even with him they probably wouldn't be much worse off.

Everton need a leader, someone who really knows the city, a winner. Bring. Him. Home.

Actually think Moyes is a decent appointment sadly. Definitely one of the better of the dinosaur managers.

Only thing giving me hope is how bad he was for the Mackems. They hate him. Hopefully just as bad for the Scouse mackems.
