Mole_Toonfan
It's pretty obvious that Wenger has complete power at Arsenal and will only leave when he wants to.
jdckelly
It's pretty obvious that Wenger has complete power at Arsenal and will only leave when he wants to. Yep. He'll decide when he wants to go and not the owner or anyone on the board has the courage to tell him otherwise. Frankly it wouldn't surprise me if Wenger was the one deciding how much he'll get paid

Sima
Arsenal just seem like a higher-level version of what we were*. Whereas we were* happy to finish 17th and spend as little as possible they seemingly are happy to finish 4th spending as little as possible. *We could still be the same, time will tell should we be promoted. Heron
I think that's about right and they should state that they will be having Wengers involvement in who will be his successor. Let him have the opportunity to walk away dignified and potentially to win a cup and leave his decent image in tact. He's done wonders for that club. The College Dropout
If the owners cared, Arsene would've left ages ago. Much like Pardew. He needs to sell Ozil and Sanchez if he does stay though.

joeyt
He's been appointed as a first team coach not as manager. Agnew is still the manager for now
midds
Just catching up with this, does that mean they're appointing a 'manager' soon or is the bloke in charge going to be Woodgate just with a different job title?
joeyt
Steve Agnew is still the 'manager'. Woodgate, Joe Jordan etc are working under Agnew

AyeDubbleYoo
They should have fired Moyes on about his second week when he said they were probably going down. Then again in January when he said they would only buy shit players. If the owners care about the club, obviously.
loki679
Fingering a kid behind a takeaway is no bother so there's no way he's getting sacked just for threatening to slap someone.
joeyt
I know he's apparently a club legend but it does seem a bit weird that Rotherham have appointed their interim manager Paul Warne on a permanent basis after losing 9 in a row
