Mike
Out of interest if Suarez was a Newcastle player how would people feel? I'd be really frustrated, but would people honestly want him sold? iirc opinions on Barton were split.

He's class so it'd be difficult. I can only think in terms of temperament that he is similar only to joey Barton who from day one I thought was an utter prick but was half decent. I think is feel the same although , in terms of football, Suarez is obviously light years ahead; which would sugar coat it a bit. Biting is territory that no fan should be defending. I'd be amazed that we had such a quality striker on Championship wages. I'd be more amazed we got him over that line tbh, plus Pardcunt would have him looking more like Shola within 6 months so everone would hate him when he bit someone

KaKa
His behaviour is completely indefensable, which is why I' amazed by the Liverpool fans response. Can't begin to imagine how incredibly annoying it is to knwo you have such a class player on your books that does crap like this. It'd be tough to see him sold if he were on my team, but if he keeps getting banned then I think it would have to be the only option.

Wullie
Colombia the team of the tournament so far for me. Pissed that group with embarrassing ease. Rodriguez reminds me so much of Ben Arfa in the way he runs etc.

Don't care how good he is. He did this not much more than 12 months ago FFS. He's an excellent player but an amoral nutjob, his actions are disgusting enough but the way he'll defend them and go on like a martyr afterwards confirm he's absolutely scum. Mole_Toonfan
James Rodriguez Think i have a new favourite player, absolute love his game. Wish would leave Monaco though, i can't be arsed to watch their empty stadium just to see him play. Been outstanding though, everything is so effortless and smooth. Guest TruToon94
Can anybody actually explain what possibly is the mentality behind Suarez and him biting people? I mean once, you can understand but three times? Even Gazza's erratic behavior can be explained by addictive behavior. I really can't understand the reason for his actions? LucaAltieri
Out of interest if Suarez was a Newcastle player how would people feel? I'd be really frustrated, but would people honestly want him sold? As with Barton, I wouldn't have wanted him in the first place, but once he's a Newcastle player you just kind of have to be resigned to the fact. You support them when they play, you like them when they do something wonderful, and you just hope they don't do anything shitty while in your colours. When they inevitably do then you have to condemn it and hope they can turn over a new leaf (again). With Suarez it seems pretty obvious to me that he's not going to change. If it had been two biting incidents and a racism charge while a Newcastle player I'd have certainly wanted him sold. Just the racism charge alone would have been enough for me to stop supporting him.
