Upon a dismal defence of the conduct of the war by his own Prime Minister, the Conservative MP Leo Amery implored his Labour opposition to 'speak for England'.

Today, all that our peoples have stood for over 134 glorious years stands upon the brink.

Our peoples will face an onslaught from a barbaric creature; uncouth in nature and vile of temper.

We are deemed a simple club from some naysayers.

A simple club of socialism and democracy.

Yet these are not theoretical abstractions, but forces which get to the very soul of humanity.

Today YOU stand with your brothers and sisters, the world over.

Today WE defend the fragile gate of humanity.

Stand for Mackemdom; speak for civilisation

You know who.

Watching SS, NUFC vs SAFC first up. What's the first thing they talk about, Chelsea and City.

yeah, but if Quinn's at Stamford Bridge it means the t*** won't be commentating in the newcastle game.

Yeah he was wasn't too complimentary towards his old team there, saying we have a chance to 'stand' on them today.

Comfortable with 10 men with Dummett and Williamson at CB against best striker partnership in the league.

But nah Sunderland are going to f*ck them up

FYI I'm not happy about it but there needs to be a sense of perspective here... they are against a team which have only scored 5 all season and have one point.

Altidore and Fletchet couldn't f*ck up a pair of 5 year olds....but nah they are going to destroy us.

Dummett was physically much more suited for Suarez/Sturridge though. All they have to do is go long on Altidore, who flicks it onto Fletcher all game long and such a simple gameplan could be brutally effective..

Fucking hell, think you could be right. Brutal.

I think they'll be more worried about our attack than we are of theirs. Altidore is toothless, thoug Fletcher is a threat. It's all about supply, nullify the wingers, our full backs should do a decent job at that.

It's a good point - we're worried about Fletcher and Altidore, if it was Remy, Cabaye, HBA and Gouffran lining up for them I would be bricking it!

Agreed. I can definitely see this being a high scoring game..

The guy's brilliant. Wish N-O had signed him up.

They have gone back to familiarity, with only 2 summer signings starting.

Expecting the early dirty fouls from their gang.

The two new players being Altidore and Dossena while they have lost Sessegnon, Rose and Mignolet. I'll take that!

Having to watch this on me todd after lending me housemate £100 to get a train home yesterday because he'd blagged a last minute ticket, absolute nightmare.

 You're some friend.

I know.

Tbf, I'd expect nothing less from him if the roles were reversed; only reason I had to lend him the money was because he's still waiting for Student Finance to pull their finger out.

Dossena will likely be crap while Altidore might fancy his chances against Dummett.

Hope we have enough to put them on the back foot though. Their gameplan is rather predictable so there's hoping we have an idea that works.
