Mick
Brilliant from the Chronicle that. Ashley couldn't give a s***, but it's still brilliant. Are you taking it to the match?

Mick
Probably not, it's a good idea though Take one, it will do no harm and will help get a message over to the pricks who run our club that we've had enough.
TK-421
I hope there are a sizeable number in the crowd with the front page, holding it aloft. Be interesting to see whether Sky show it, or even make mention.

arnonel
Everybody should take a copy of that to the match and hold it up, the club can't stop you as it's not illegal to do so. It doesn't matter what you think of the local paper or NUST, it's the principle of what they're doing in trying to ban what they don't like. Seriously, everyone needs to give up their past opinions on those two and support the movement. It's not going to work if people are not united, we're all on the same side in this and want the same things. Might as well go for it. ditto
TheGuv
Tbh if people klnow about this and can't be arsed to buy a 60p Ronnie, wave it about a bit for 30 seconds before the game, then we really are useless at protesting
Varadi
That's a fantastic effort - that quote always brings a lump to the throat. There's a good chance the stadium gestapo will be primed to remove copies of the paper mind, so might be worth just taking the front page folded up in your pocket, they can't search everyone that thoroughly! Well I'll rephrase that to showing our discontent. Something needs to be done. The more people that jump onto the bandwagon and buy copies and 'spread the word'. The more the Ronnie will keep printing the stuff. It's a wash-rinse-repeat cycle. If just everyone who's going to the game did it tomorrow it would give the Chron the incntive to print more stuff about Ashley and co. that they haven't dared do in decades. It really is a now or never in my opinion

It really is a now or never in my opinion I wasn't being flippant, I genuinely wanted to know the campaign. Was it 'Chron etc in', 'Pardew out' or 'Ashley out'. If it is 'Ashley out', do we - as a group - really think that the fans have indeed had enough to campaign to get him to fuck off?

I would think it's different reasons for different people, for me I'm pissed of with the way the club are treating the fans like shite. I'm sick of being told who we can't compete with and how we should be grateful when they throw shit at us.

I'm sick of being told who we can't compete with and how we should be grateful when they throw s*** at us. I walked out during the Championship season and haven't been back since. I said a long time ago that I would prefer us to go out of business and start up again from the lowest league possible bit by bit (and we would - there's no mistake of that), than to continue with the twats who own us at present. I just can't help but feel that there is too much apathy really in the support now to want to join some coherent campaign against them tbh.

They try to make us think he has out money into the club and we should be grateful whilst at the same time he has had around 500m worth of free advertising for SD. He doesn't give a fuck about this club, it was purchased so that he could boost the profile of SD.

I've seen quite a few people this week who are angry, a week ago they were apathetic. I don't know how long that will last and that's why we need to do something now, strike while the irons hot. Guest Haris Vuckic
Aye. In the meantime we've got a legitimate cause to go radge. If we weaken Ashley's position surely we'll drive the price down? Why is why he's shitting himself.

So they can run their tits off in 3-0 home raping at the hands of Chelsea? So they can head to WHL to run for 90 minutes whilst tottenham passes the ball around them? Or just so we can make sure they get a full 90 in when taking it up the arse from Gus Poyet's mighty mackems? Seems more worthwhile to play our true XI in the cup and attempt to actually win something. Given the odds of us winning the league this year aren't all that great.
