BottledDog
Improving the infrastructure may be good but we need to increase the quality and quantity of our coaching staff as well. alt=If you build it, they will comehttp://empowereveryday.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/if_you_build_it_they_will_come_photo.jpg[/img]

Dyeyzzon
"It will also be an added attraction when we are looking to recruit players." I thought I was playing FM for a second. I just hope that this won't serve as an excuse for them to stop investing on the first team.
Ameritoon
We've needed this for a while and I did not expect it to happen until a new owner came in. Good news
maybe_next_year
Can't complain at investment like this really. Good move by the club.

I just hope that this won't serve as an excuse for them to stop investing on the first team. It will take money from the clubs coffers, so to be fair it's bound to have an impact on spending elsewhere. Doubt they'd do it if it meant fucking up the first team though. Stifler
It's about time. 10 years or so ago we had one of the best training facilities in the UK, now we have been left behind. Both Spurs, and Man City are building better training grounds, Sunderland's is now regarded as better than ours. We really do need to keep up with the facilities for our players. It's ok saying we have a great stadium but when you have sub par/average facilities to use day in day out then that's going to have an impact on the players sooner or later. Guest firetotheworks
No expense spared on the CAD like. That volleyball thing surrounded by windows looks like something I would have designed at the age of 11.
Guest neesy111
Basically spreading the cost through 3 financial years to save money for the cost of it. You'd think you could get this done in a year if you desperately wanted it. It's a good step, only issue is that it could be outdated by 2016 when it's due to open with the way football moves these days.
