Ashley is definitely Pardew Offsetting. Pardew's probably more toxic than carbon tbf.

Carbon's not very toxic.

What's your deal man? You know exactly what I'm talking about.

After the first win, the majority of the crowd will be licking Pardew's hole again.

It's remarkable though.

How can one go from being apathetic to being overjoyed with such a bellend in charge.

There is no excuse for us being the pathetic no entity we currently are.

He's teflon.

After pushing a linesman, telling Manuel Pellegrini to "shut his facking noise the old c*nt" and  headbutting an opposing player he is still here.

He basically blamed losing to Oldham on our young players, saying all our senior players played well. Forgetting the fact that when he said "we changed some things" he means HE changed somethings, and his ideas just didn't work because our young players never get a game.

Unfortunately yesterday's match was just a dry run of what a cup tie will be like this season.

My prediction is we will spoon a couple of victories and the retards will be out saying "THAT'S THE PARDEW HATERS BACK IN THEIR BOX!!1"

Cue the "Hiz handz woz tied, now his got playerz are Pardew iz da best" then when he returns to type "Hiz handz is tied innit wif thes cheap forrins"

just hope pardew seeks some advice from graham carr who will have seen our signings play several times and have an idea of systems and positons that suit them. don't see him getting much feedback from carver or stone.

"This is an important signing because we know that in the striking department, with Papiss (Cisse) injured, we needed to improve that area,"

"We have looked at Emmanuel for a while and we know he will score goals for us.

"Now we have an offensive line that will fretten the best Premier League sides with Emmanuel, Remy Cabella and Siem de Jong all on board.

"And that is great because our first game of the season is Manchester City, so we need to be up and running straight away."

Like last year's 0-4, cunt?

"He is quick, hungry for success and will love having 50,000 Geordies cheering him on and singing his name," explained the boss.

"It is a different type of atmosphere here at Newcastle to what he experienced at Monaco, and that will excite him - it will lift him.

"Emmanuel is still only a young player and has time to learn and improve, and hopefully can be a real star at this Club."

Well you'll soon Pardew that out of him won't you? He can learn the long ball game and improve his left back skills.

I really hope these signing don't placate the fans.  First two games are on telly, so we need the Pardew out chants to get the pressure on him from the start.

Prepare to be hugely disappointed.

I think it'll push the attention in the short term from Ashley's failings firmly at Pardew's now. Definitely a good thing imo.

Remember when everyone was complaining cause we hadn't signed anyone BEFORE the transfer window opened? Wonder what they're thinking. #NUFC

Personally they get no praise from me, all these signings are long overdue and you argue start of last season the team was better.

Will have to go a long way before i start applauding them.

Soundly better, tbh.

Won't happen unless we get another tonking from City and the new players all have poor games....

Will take several poor results before the myopic diehards get the message..

I won't be their to add my voice to the limited pardew haters this season so I just hope my seat hasn't been taken by some  pardew lover that will give more than the one game he deserves.

What would the king think?

That graph just means that there are both good players that run a lot and good players that run less. Similarly, there are bad players that run a lot and bad players that run less.

This is just an eyeball estimation but the predictive value of those lines relative to the scatterplot simply can't be that strong.

This is the real worry for the future of NUFC, young fans who don't remember Keegan and barely remember Robson for whom this is the norm, for whom finishing in the top half is some sort of achievement.

Ashley and Pardew have got the next generation exactly where they want them.

Let's be honest, even after a season of teams lining up to gang bang us by 4 or 5 goals the fans were still mostly behind Pards. So we've made some almost exciting signings and the heat will be off for a while, but without a commanding centre back and a proven striker, we still might have problems at both ends of the pitch. I wouldn't be too optimistic yet if I was one of the Pardew cheerleading squad.
