Then they played Pardew's interview, where he mentions that we have a great chance of catching/finishing above Man Utd. That would normally be great, if it wasn't the worst Man Utd team since the Premier League started. Anyway... at least they can't use the 'we are 8th' excuse for the foreseeable.
