Just watching the post-match 'discussion' now and the bitterness and desperation from Sky to try and show how much Man Utd dominated the game is as sickeningly transparent as it is laughable. Ed Chamberlain the smarmy tablet waving 's' accentuating t*** was pulling unusual statistics from thin air like average player positions and saying 'just look at that', mentioning they had 74 crosses but it's irrelevant, 2-2 was the score. It happened Ed, get over it. Man Utd had the game won and they threw away three points in the last 30 seconds. He mentioned Man U had 'broken records' left right and centre in this game. They might have but these are records that mean absolutely nothing. The commentary from Martin Tyler and Gary Neville was unbearable. Tyler was incredibly desperate for Man Utd to equalise and when they did they started showing Mick Hucknall joking about with their god Sir Alex and by this time the Man Utd fans had begun to wake up and of course we heard Neville shouting 'oh dear' when Fulham equalised. Tyler was Talking about how plucky Fulham had no chance against Man U's might and had just a general 'didn't they do well' attitude with his typical 'normal service resumed' swagger punctuating his witticisms which as usual go down like a lead balloon. Gary Neville was mentioning that the amount of crosses was nothing to do with Moyes. Really Gary it's not the staff's fault? Or are you shying away from criticising them because your brother is sat on the home teams' bench. The attendence was towards 60,00 from Man U fans, isn't OT's capacity nearer towards 75,000. I know they were playing the bottom of the league club but down 15,000 for a PL game is not good. They have hard times ahead.

It was an over the top reaction from Pardew, but it was far from a 'nothing game'.

It was a last minute winner that sent us 6 points clear of the relegation zone IIRC. I was doing exactly the same as him at the time

81 - Man Utd have made more crosses in a single game than any other Premier League side since the beginning of 2006/07.  Bombardment.

They must be pretty cross now too :lol"

Massive squad overhaul beckons this summer I reckon.

They need a manager that will employ tactics other than 'lob as many balls as possible into the box from wide areas and hope for the best'.

Their squad is ageing and most of the "first teamers" are showing their age. It's all very well to have some experience in there but they need some sort of fresh faces in every area of the pitch, especially defence. Rooney doesn't really want to be there and they can't count on Van Persie all the time. Their fringe players are also inconsistent as f***. The fact that they're counting on an ageing Carrick to sit in midfield and provide the "vital" ball speaks volumes.

Having said that, I do agree on Moyes' questionable tactics.

Smalling, Evans, Jones, Cleverley, Carrick, Valencia, Young, Welbeck are all not good enough.  Ferdinand is finished, Vidic is gone, Rooney doesn't wanna be there and their manager isn't up to the job.

Quite frankly, they are a complete mess and I am enjoying it every minute of it.  After 20 years of knowing nothing but success and getting everything their own way, watching these cunts decline into mediocrity is fucking glorious.

845 short of capacity... ?

Must have got the guy from the Emirates doing the adding up so they can lie about FFP, too.

At least they can sack their manager and buy players to fix their problems.

No chance will they have same attraction without Ferguson and CL football.  They won't be able to compete with the the best clubs like they used to, infact they'll have their best players like Rooney and Januzaj taken from them.

They have a shit-ton of money available, so no. Just look at Liverpool - despite squandering a fortune on shite and finishing behind us for years, it was only a matter of time before their income meant they overtook us.

As if 20+ years of success will be forgotten in such a short period of time. Ludicrous suggestion.
