Having seen a fair bit of Zirkzee at Bologna last season, where he was so exciting to watch as a key cog in that crazy attacking system Thiago Motta played, it is sickening to see how quickly they've broken this guy and thrown him under the bus.

There's talks he will be sent away in January, and I hope for his sake that it's true. Looks like Motta wants him at Juve as part of his setup again.

When they signed him this summer it seemed so forced and that they only went for him because he had a low release clause. Pretty sure I said to Froggy they'd screw it up with him. And here we are.

He looks immobile to me. I don't know if it's because he's carrying an injury, but he looks like he runs through treacle

Didnt see him Last season but it’s clear he has some attributes. Whether or not it works for him at Manchester United might not be his fault. Taking him off was the right move though.

We should remember that we we’re saying similar about Joelinton at one point.

Been to Old Trafford countless times. Every time you go it’s full of tourists, day trippers from all over the country and they sing their cute little songs about Shearer.

Fuck the lot of them. Anyone brought up whilst Ferguson was there and they were dominant will rightly be loving their downfall.

We are going to hump the cunts up here as well. Hope we get to play them in a final again.

Yes I will always remember the wife and I trudghing back to our pub gathering (which was miles away) after the Charity Shield final at Wembley. Just the two of us and the abuse we took from Man Utd fans was horrific.  A car stopped at some traffic lights and yet again we came upon a torrent abuse from four young Man Utd fans.

I approached the car and they sped off through a red light.  This is not me trying to sound "hard" by the way.  I honestly think that I was capable at the time of turning the car over.  I was a lot younger then and my wife couldn't believe my behaviour.  I'm a lover not a fighter but if you insult my wife ..........

We’ll have our day with them in the smoke, I’m sure of it. Will be mighty sweet.

They aren't going to be able to spend their way out of this one either, unless then can manage to peddle Rashford sharpish. They aren't far off being in trouble with PSR.

The Glazer's have a parasitic hold on this club, the same way that Ashley did on us.

Fuck them.

Absolutely love listening to Man Utd fans whinging about how they just need to get rid of everyone and sign a whole new team. As if they haven’t spent hundreds of millions the last few years, entitled pricks.

Hoijland always looks like a promising striker at the wrong club.

Which exciting young player has come through at Man Utd in the last decade? And maybe even further back than that?

Even the ones that show some flashes, end up being swallowed up by the toxicity at the club.

Completely agree. Totally different attributes but reminds me of JDT with us. The entirely wrong person at that time.

First time in my lifetime where I’ve felt like we’re collectively and individually far superior to them.

No doubt we rode our luck at times tonight, but overall we were just so much better. What a sweet feeling.

Exactly...first time in my life I've seen their squad and thought that there's literally not one player to be actually terribly concerned about. They're almost at the point where even suspect decisions and homer refs can't even help them. Long may it continue

Could be that they simply don't have the best players anymore?

Where's the Cantona,

Where's the Keane or Scholes

Where's the Ferdinand and Vidic

Where's the Van Persie or Van Nistelrooy

Where's the Beckham and Giggs.

That's before even considering the likes of Rooney, Never, Ronaldo.

It's been a long while coming but they have been left behind

Who's Never?

Hojlund and Zirkzee are players who needed another two three seasons where they were. Not dropped into the toxic mess of a superclub.

I'll never understand why they went for two strikers in such an early stage of their development, when they had no established first team striker at the club.

I was so sure they were going to sign Toney this past summer but they didn't.
