I am not expert on Man Utd but seemed a bit silly to drop Garnacho last night who at times looked decent this season for Mount, who hasn't exactly been pulling up trees since back from injury. Hasn't Ugarte being doing ok recently, especially in the EL seemed a bit daft not to start with him.

Mount and Shaw look nowhere near match fit!

From the outside looking in I think the fans are spoilt.

The glazers have spent a fortune on players and backed every manager and yet are hated.

When we had Ashley we never spent money on players and never backed managers until Steve Bruce.

No Mount deserved to start. He's been playing very well and offers a lot more defensively than Garnacho. Garnacho has also been super wasteful lately despite working hard. Mount also scored two brilliant goals in the semi final.

Ugarte not starting a bit mental. None of us can understand that one, especially since it means dropping Bruno deeper.

Shaw felt like a mistake as well, but he wouldn't have started had Dalot been fit. It was more out of necessity.

If you start Ugarte and Casemiro, play Bruno higher up and Mount also deserved the spot, then that means dropping Diallo? Who with Bruno is maybe the most likely to produce something?

It was Hojlund I wanted to be dropped.

I thought it was very wierd to see Bruno played as a deep lying midfielder, completely wasted his talents. he saves Manu every other game with his worldie passing, goals or free kicks, wierd to see him so far back

He does play there quite often, but rarely to start the game. Usually drops back later in games once one of the other DM's tire.  To start him there from the beginning against a really shocking Spurs side was a strange choice.

The worst bit is that we didn't make a change until the 71st minute. Amorim is normally quite proactive with his subs.

He seems to encapsulate exactly why Man Utd losing is always the best option. I’m not looking but his response to the people laughing at him will no doubt be “How meneh trofehs you won?”.

Thicker than whale spunk that bloke.

He's spat the dummy and blocked them for reposting

Man Utd are completely finished now mind. They needed CL just to satisfy PSR and that was before they strengthened their squad. Won't be able to invest in a team that isn't going to hit the 40 point mark this season and won't be able to move on any of the dead wood because no other club will be stupid enough to pay the wages that these are.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

it goes to show how much of an elite manager Taggart was - they’ve been a mess since he retired and spunked a fortune on horrific transfers! Lovely!
