Only a keeper and midfielder required and then #21 incoming.

Big season for Amorin, CL qualification is a minimum requirement for the Glazers after the money they've spent in the last 5 years.

Now seems AC Milan are interested in Hojlund.

Sources suggest the Serie A side are willing to pay an initial 4m euros (£3.47m) loan fee, with an additional option to buy next summer for 40m (£34.7m). (BBC)

With transfer dealings such as this, is it any wonder AC Milan are a shadow of what they once were.

They have potentially a formidable attack going into this season, but they still have glaring holes in the squad and they're counting on Sesko hitting the ground running. Personally I think they'll struggle to break into the top 6 again this season.

You've bid on more players than us mate. Decent sources suggest you've offered more money both for fees and wages for the ones we're both in for as well. You'd have spent more than us if the players wanted to go to you.

Just the Manchester United pull. Dread it, run from it, it arrives all the same.

You know he didn’t got to Man Lose for less wages. I mean, you know he didn’t. It’s not a problem. Wages are the reason 99.99% of players choose a club. Or rather, their agents choose them.

Just going by what's been reported mate. Romano, as annoying as he is, is a better source than Lotus off Newcastle-Online.

Let us know when you’ve read his tax returns and compared them the to the contract we offered. You seem to have direct access to all the relevant paperwork, nothings a secret from you. I look forward to your uploads so we can see for ourselves.

We've bid for more players because we've been rejected more tbf. E.g., if we sign João Pedro we don't bid for Ekitke.

Romano can be trusted on whether deals are happening or not. He can’t be trusted on the details of the deals any longer. He’s a mouthpiece selling engagement and has been proven to be a scumbag liar regularly on details

I don't think he ever wanted us,we were used to flush Man Utd out.  If he was genuinely open to either move and we were offering more money his reasons for choosing Man Utd are a bit odd.  It can't have been the history and heritage that swung it because he knew that when he was saying he was open to both offers.  As a project it could be argued that we are in a better place.

He always wanted Man Utd, because of the heritage, but needed a stalking horse.  Step out of the paddock the perennial stalking horse that is NUFC

We've spent around £200m so far.

You've bought Elanga for £55m. You were in for Ekitike for at least £70m, Trafford for £27.5m, £26m for Thiaw etc. All players in different positions.

Your spend would be the same as ours if the players didn't go elsewhere.

He wanted ManU because of their recent success, if it was down to heritage he'd be wanting to join Preston.

So we wouldn't have spent more than you as you originally stated. Cheers.

How can Man Utd afford another £100 million midfielder?

They've got a £100m credit card that they can tack on to the billion they're already in hock to. It's all absolutely fine and legit though

Debt forever.  Anyone any idea what they are paying back purely on interest with that level of debt? Froggy? Who do they owe it to?
What a league where a club that qualifies for champs league, wins a cup, has little debt can’t compete on wages with clubs finishing 15th. Mental.

In fairness Mr Frog, in recent years the 'Man Utd pull' has been more of a dangerous current dragging talented young players into the abyss of mediocrity.
