Glazers once again putting their hands in their pockets and backing their manager.

Hopefully they'll get the credit they deserve from their so called fans.

Think we've been harsh on both our supposedly poor owners.

Ashley was splashing out £60m on transfers even when you were in the Championship. Zero thanks for it.

I don't think even Froggy would disagree that it's a bit ridiculous to have cried poor and needing to sack multiple low level staff only to then sign over £200m worth of forward talent without any notable sales to offset that.

It's indeed pretty funny in the context of all the Ratcliffe crying about having to cut down on everything as there were no money left, and justified it all with saying that they were in danger of going bust by christmas. Yeah, we certainly see that now..

I feel bad for you having owners who splash the cash on expensive players. What if they get injured in the first few months?

The entire business model is based around the football. The team will always need investment. Doesn't mean you can't streamline the rest of the business, especially when had double the staff of teams of a similar stature.

You don't fall further behind by having less dinner ladies.

Then we have an excuse for Amorim finishing 15th again.

How much money did they save by cutting steward bonuses and such?

You mean the summer where we also sold Sissoko, Wijnaldum, Townsend et al for well over £60m?

Anyways, what I think is funny is the crying about running out of money and going bust. Obviously a club in that situation would not be spending like this after finishing 15th. Moral of the story, none of his crying can ever be taken seriously.

Apparently after a £90 million midfielder from Brighton as well.

Typical capitalist bollocks from Sir Jim.

To see Man Utd fans defending the spending is very poor, and unsurprisingly it's often internet fans that lack a substantial connection to the area. Football clubs love crying poor when it suits.

The fact that this shitty club with millions in debt yet allow to spend 3x more than us say it all about corrupt PSR

You've bid on more players than us mate. Decent sources suggest you've offered more money both for fees and wages for the ones we're both in for as well. You'd have spent more than us if the players wanted to go to you.

Just the Manchester United pull. Dread it, run from it, it arrives all the same.
