Now seems AC Milan are interested in Hojlund.

Sources suggest the Serie A side are willing to pay an initial 4m euros (£3.47m) loan fee, with an additional option to buy next summer for 40m (£34.7m). (BBC)

I mean, don’t hate me for it, but for that it is so worth taking a punt on him.

Debt forever.  Anyone any idea what they are paying back purely on interest with that level of debt? Froggy? Who do they owe it to?
What a league where a club that qualifies for champs league, wins a cup, has little debt can’t compete on wages with clubs finishing 15th. Mental.

After reading that Athletic article this morning on their finances and some of the comments, they need to sell players this summer, the more the better at reduced fees if necessary so long as their wages are gone. The gamble this summer is to get back into Europe, if that doesn't happen then next summer will be very interesting.

Apparently the Glazers have agreed to stop taking dividends for the next 3 years and they have effectively increased their overdraft.

If the players aren't sold and revenue is not increased by good performance and European qualification their new forward line will be looking for new clubs next season.

Donnarumma Is a weird one. People will put him up there in elite bracket because of the games they saw in UCL this season and the monumental saves. But he’s only a fraction above Pope for playing with his feet in truth and he’s prone to some massive blunders whilst weirdly not being great in the air for someone so tall :D

Would be an improvement over Onana, but at £250k+ a week, it’s not some certified lock in for rest of this decade.

Amorim is on a short leash to start this season. Can 100% see Ratcliffe sacking him by November if they’re off the pace for UCL, because he’s not spending £300m and not expecting UCL football. This isn’t some patient rebuild when you are making out the credit.

I've done mega posts on here explaining the debt. That debt is still from the Glazer's leveraged buyout. We have paid a lot interest. It's around a billion in interest, fees etc.

Football didn't start yesterday though. Over the last year, you're more successful than us. Over the last 3, as bad as we've been, you're not. Over the last 10-20? Well.

In fairness Mr Frog, in recent years the 'Man Utd pull' has been more of a dangerous current dragging talented young players into the abyss of mediocrity.

Still more success than most though. That's the point isn't it?

A club like Manchester United which has been bankrupt before should be looking to get the debt down.

According to that Athletic article this morning they definitely need to sell this window and qualify for Europe, because of how they have structured the transfers over 3 to 5 years all those deals are catching up with them and they are using a £300 million overdraft with big interest. It looks like the Galzers not taking dividends this year has actually saved them.

I'm skeptical of this talk because they've lose 300m over the last 3 years 190m over par yet they are still somehow compliant.

I think at a minimum full psr calculations should be public and only items which are listed in the rules as deductable should be allowable.
