That is EXACTLY why HBA should not start every game. I coach kids with more awareness of what's going on around them...

Jesus

Glad you noted that because i was just.......argh.....

Guy created more than anyone else in half the time. Granted he was a bit greedy but if he wasn't greedy he wouldn't be Hatem.

Well yeah, everyone is focusing on those two shots, ok they were very greedy but like fuck he's selfish all the time. He damn good will create chances if we actually played him, like last week.

Thought Santon was immeasurably better when moved over to the right. He was fucking dogshit prior to that but, unfortunately, I thought Haidara was pants when he came on n'all.

Shame like, the subs and changes in formation was decent (although I don't think Shola coming on was absolutely necessary, not that early anyway). But it was the performances of the subs weren't good enough. Haidara was ineffectual on the left and Ben Arfa, whilst obviously dangerous, let us down with his decision-making. He certainly wasn't shit, mind, fucking hell.

Just wasn't our day. No shame.

Arsenal will not win the league, unless they iprove their striking options and improve their squad in Jan. They have quite a few weak spots, imo.

We didn't play brilliantly but we were unlucky not to get a draw. Goal wasn't coming at all, we looked more likely to score.

We never looked likely to score.

Tough to take, because it was a good performance. Arsenal used all their "experience" to good effect, which is the way the game is these days.

We didn't do much wrong, restricted their chances really well whilst occupying some great positions in their half. The goal was a shoddy one to give away, Williamson caught the wrong side of Giroud. Lacked a real goalthreat ourselves though, and when we finally did get two strikers on - Shola had the requisite aggression but no ability to back it up, whilst Remy had all the ability but not the aggression to get on the end of anything.

Tiote was a beast. Sissoko faded a bit. Cabaye was a bit disappointing for me, but not awful - just a little overly-ambitious at times. HBA had his heart in the right place (which is a weird thing to say for a footballing cameo ) and you could see it was desperate to get us a goal, but his zeal probably got the better of him on or two occasions, when a calmer head may have yielded better results. Thought he was right to take on the shot at the end, as only Shola was in there (and well marked), but just took it too quickly.

Disappointed with the outcome, but a performance the team can be proud of - hopefully it didn't take too much out of then. :(

He could have created chances from those ridiculous shots if he'd had half a brain.

Oh and for those saying, there was nothing on for that late one, when he'd done so well to create the opening, watch it again.

Think when he says Arsenal he mean Newcastle

Then he would support Arsenal no ?, or that sentence makes even less sense than it does now.

The ref may have given them every thing but we didn't help ourselves either. Rarely ever had any one supporting Remy. So many great crosses put in with no-one attacking it. A new striker is welcome but it's the same old Pardew flaws.

Thought Tiote was a liability myself, poor passing, fouling all the time. Otherwise, agree with your post.

s***. The ref sucked. We weren't good enough going forward. A draw would have been fair. Sky are trying to say that Arsenal turned in a champions performance here but I thought they were pretty average.

Nothing suggests to me that they will win the league, tbh.

They had Ozil and Ramsey missing and still won with a clean sheet whilst playing pretty badly. They're definitely good enough when they've got their full team available, but we should have done a lot more today. Going into that match with a more attacking attitude from the off could have got us a win, imo.

Agree with this mostly.
