Super Duper Branko Strupar
Marshall, Lloris and Mignolet all ahead of Cech. Agree with Lolro about Terry, too.
Greg
Marshall is shite, don't let a few decent saves on Match of the Day fool you.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
77 saves and a 73% save percentage is canny decent, like. I'm not suggesting he's a world beater but he's had a better season than Cech. EDIT: Ignore that. They're from Jan. He's still performed better than Cech. Disco
Maybe Speroni, can't remember him making too many blunders.

Tbf that Wolves scrub Hennessey had similar stats in their relegation season, it means f*ck all. Personally i think Cech has been great this year i'd have him in my team of the year personally. Mole_Toonfan
I remember reading he had the highest shot to save ratio when they went down. Any goalkeeper will look good when he has to make 20 saves a game, not saying Marshall is shit tbf but its hard to really quantify it as a reason why. I won't comment whether he's been as good as people say as i haven't really watched Cardiff, just making the point.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
Well of course. I just can't remember Cech really having much of an impact in many of Chelsea's matches. Marshall has had a lot of saves to make obviously but you can only do what is being asked of you.

Tachikoma
Holy fuck, Villarreal fans threw a banana at Alves... who then went and ate it "Obrigado for the potassium, cunts." In fact, the 30-year-old commented after the game: 'I don't know who threw the banana but I want to thank him. It gave me the energy to put two more crosses in for our goals.' class
Pilko
Was I just not concentrating, or did MOTD2 not even bother to show Villa's goal tonight?

TaylorJ_01
Marshall GK of the year for me. Suppose it's difficult to give it to the team in 20th would have been gone for months if it were not for him.
BrettNUFC
Holy f***, Villarreal fans threw a banana at Alves... who then went and ate it That was quality by Alves, picks it up, scrans it, then takes the corner
The College Dropout
Cech Has been solid I suppose. Terry's been better than Kompany although defending is easier fro Chelsea. Ramsey unlucky to miss out. Been better than Gerrard.

The College Dropout
Prior to yesterday would Gerrard have been in the running if not for the last 3 1/2 months? Toure and Ramsey have been the outstanding CM's of the PL.

In the first half of the season Gerrard was average. Scored penalties and spread some great passes but he wasn't dominating matches like the Gerrard of old or even Paul Scholes of 3 years ago.
