The other games today - 2013/14

The way this title run is going, can't be assuming Man City are going to beat Villa.

*chuckles*

Actually, I fancy us to get a point.

Seriously.

We've beaten them once this season.

Kind of s*** for our banners if the game is pointless.

They still need to secure 2nd spot. Plus whole of Anfield behind them, playing for pride, less tense in their game etc.

They've bottled this far in excess of how we did in '96. Man United chased us down like a rabid dog, this mob have just chucked it away through their own naivety.

Load of guff that. They lost to Chelsea at home and drew with a team in brilliance form away on the back of a crazy amount of wins.

They lost to Chelsea by piling forward and being stupid in a game they didn't even need to win. A draw there and they only need to win tonight instead of needing to go suicidal to try and correct the GD.

They were far too desperate to show Chelsea that the mighty Liverpool were back and fell right into the trap.

Aye. They've dropped something like 9 or 10 points in 2014.

Alright, but it wasn't far excess of our failure. Liverpool had two of the three richest sides in the world after them and had virtually no margin for error.

Still nothing like dropping a 12 point lead though. Not even on the same planet.

Let's be honest, if Liverpool were on the verge of a title at home they wouldn't be showing our banners much at all. Few times here there, few comments here and there but they'd be lapping up the return of greatness at Anfield and the Rodgers, Gerrard, and Suarez stories, etc.

If this becomes a regular match in which Liverpool have lost the title going into it - our banners get more time.

Regardless, I expect a 2 to 5 goal loss. Pride and anger will show through for them; we also have this thing called defeated before we turn up. And it happens all the fucking time, and it will happen again on Merseyside this weekend. They score early, the gates will open up and the goals will come crashing in.

Rodgers likes to make out that he's some kind of technically gifted coach but the way Mourinho and then Pulis got to his team, doesn't say much for his tactical awareness. 3-0 up and cruising, that result for Liverpool is inexcusable.

dunno this was literally their title they had 1 and half hands on it and completely blew it and bottled it. And its all down to Steven Gerrard to just make that bit more delicious

Thoroughly enjoyed that. Every single second of Liverpool misery, live and in HD.

The pressure was on and they choked big time. It all equals out in the end.
