Even then i couldn't see it happening, Robben is their best player. But the whole two players plus cash thing makes it glaringly obvious.

I remember when you used to think Ribery was the better player...

I feel vindicated for always thinking Robben was better. At the time tbf most people were saying Ribery was better

Same. Robben has always been more talented. Just needed to show it more consistently. He's phenomenally good.

I think this is how the majority of the forum felt. I guess we had all seen Robben tear the PL up and he was the star man en route to the CL victory and he generally always looked the better player in the CL. Mole and other football hipsters said Ribery was better because he would tear Mainz a deep one in the Bundesliga on a regular. Think it's been obvious from day one that Robben is by far the more talented footballer.

 This is actually exactly the point I would make to Mole and Flip at the time but I wouldn't exactly call them football hipsters for watching the Bundesliga

This was pre-BT sport Bundesliga coverage wasn't it? If so, definite football hipster. Flip is a Brazilian who follows Newcastle United in some detail and apparently the Bundesliga. Definite football hipster.

It was on ESPN before BT IIRC which used to be free with Sky. Also Flip is more European than Brazilian

I still do think that, but Ribery isn't the same player anymore. This may come as a shock but things change.

Valencia sign Bakkali - also Mendes-repped () on a free.

This lad looked like the next best thing a couple years ago, but fell off the face of the earth. I guess it's a decent punt on a free.

Where can I find a list of all the Valencia transfers? For some reason it seems impossible.

Southampton sign right back Cuco Martina meaning they have a bit of competition for places in their back 4. Mugs

Who else have they signed for RB?

Cedric
