Off topic but I've always wondered why footballers get married so early. The sane thing to do is shag around until after you retire then find someone after the initial celebrity has waned and you have a good chance of finding someone who isn't a typical WAG.

Maybe they fall in love and want to commit their lives to that person

I'd say a lot of them shag all around them anyway

But why do so many of them cheat, then? I'm not necessarily blaming them, it would be difficult staying faithful when hundreds of lasses are throwing themselves at you everyday but if you love the person then why cheat?

At least Vardy's wife gets to feel like more of a WAG now they'll be in glamorous London. No wonder she was getting s*** on twitter. She will have been packing the bags as soon as the rumour to Arsenal started

Been through about 30 footballers apparently. Will probably upgrade munters to Mesut Ozil at Arsenal.

She recently claimed that before she got with Vardy, she travelled for hours to meet Peter Andre and was left distraught as he was hung like a wasp so he had wasted her time.

Meh, quite a few non-footballers cheat on their partners as well. that's life sadly. Bet there's loads of footballers who don't cheat but we won't hear about that because its not newsworthy

And from Vardy's point of view he's still getting Champions League football. Arsenal's tippy tappy stuff isn't going to suit him, not sure how he fits into a team that tries to walk the ball in.

Do you not think Wenger realises they need to mix it up a bit, and sign a player like Vardy? As mentioned, someone with aggression and edge who annoys defenders, everything Arsenal lack. People have twisted about Wenger's methods for years now and when he finally looks like buying someone who alters it somewhat he's still doing wrong.

Aye but will he actually change his methods regardless of who he signs though ? I can't see Wenger even tweaking his philosophies to accommodate 1 player who's only had 1 exceptional season.

i won't deny he's stubborn and any changes from him are a slow process. However there have been slight nuances lately, notably finally realising he needed a good keeper, and signing Xhaka signifies he's after someone to dominate the middle third.

Arsenal do play a measured build up a lot of the time but we've all seen how they can break on teams when have the opportunity, imo Vardy will add to it. Also from Fleetwood to Arsenal is such a short duration, certainly can't blame him going.

Amazing how these scouts at bigger clubs couldn't spot these players' potential when they were 'unknowns'.

But then all football fans know fuck all. NUFC were right to get rid of HBA - and those so called professional scouts and clubs that didn't jump for his signature were absolutely right, too.

They certainly deserve all the riches, privlages and rewards that the game brings them.

If its true that Vardy is pushing 30 and he's only had 4 seasons in professional league football then you can't blame him for accepting Arsenals offer I hope they play him as an out and out striker tho.

What do you mean if it's true he's pushing 30? Do you doubt his age?

Arsenal should be all over Kante.

A midfield three of Kante-Xhaka-Ozil would be tasty. Spunk the cash for Higuain and they're rolling.

              Higuain

Alexis                      Ox/Ramsey

                  Ozil

    Kante              Xhaka

:fwap:

For me, marriage has always been related to financial stability. In my case, the birth of a child has accelerated things ever so slightly, but like most younger people, I wanted to have progressed in career and life goals before permanently attaching myself to a woman. For footballers, the most financially stable period of life is their mid twenties to early thirites (maybe 24-31), after they have come through the trials and tribulations of stepping up to professional level and before age prejudice limits clubs' interest in signing them and available opportunities. Why wait? As for cheating, it is rampant everywhere. Look at the best couple you know, it is likely one of them has cheated or come close.

PSG triggered Kante's release clause apparently.

For some reason, I've always thought Kante would struggle to make his mark at the biggest clubs. Can easily see him reduced to a specialist. Don't doubt his talent, but think he may actually be far better suited to a team like Leicester.

Deeney would be a good partner for Vardy actually.

He basically did for Ighalo what Ulloa/Okazaki did for Vardy, only he's more of a goal threat than those two.

I read that somewhere and it sounded right so I'm gonna agree with it.

To be fair, it'd be a massive sign of intent from Leicester that they don't want to be one and done by matching any offer Vardy gets from Arsenal to keep a hold of him.

the tweets are fake

Wey they're not on the telefootball (official) account anyway
