Ketsbaia
Spurs have about 8 or 9 more vital players than Walker and they'll get a boatload of money. Not bad.
Figures 1-0 Football
A better move for the selling club than the buying one, which says it all really.
Segun Oluwaniyi
Wonder how much Spurs will get for Walker. Shouldn't be too hard to replace either. Yeah, was just thinking it's great for them. They should get a pile of money, and for someone that isn't really that vital to them. Trippier did great stepping in for him. Walker can be quite error prone defensively too. Yeah, those who follow Spurs seem quite comfortable with Trippier taking his position. They can now allocate those funds towards making improvements in other areas. Neither Bertrand nor Walker are great players imo (or worth the high prices they will inevitably demand), but this is still great business for City. Their fullbacks were entirely rubbish last season, especially given how Pep prefers his teams to play. They have quickly and definitely improved the weakest part of the side very early in the window. I know they have been heavily linked to Benjamin Mendy as well, I wonder if that is still likely to happen.
Guest chopey
Good for Walker, Good for City, Good for Spurs, Good for England.
Guest
Lukaku off to another premier league club Chelsea according to tomorrow's papers. Think he'll get to closer to Shearer than Kane now.
Figures 1-0 Football
Presume that move will trigger Costa leaving too like.

mrmojorisin75
Wonder how much Spurs will get for Walker. Shouldn't be too hard to replace either. One report I saw said £40m I mean, fuck me.

I did laugh but then I remembered Moussa. They'll have to sell him for at least £50m if we're to forget about that.
Ketsbaia
Costa was saying the other week that he doesn't want China, just Atletico. But now they have the ban and Lukaku's pushing him out. Oh well.
triggs
Did Chelsea have a buy back clause? Really thick if they didn't although I guess money doesn't really matter to them

Mole_Toonfan
Liverpool have released a statement on the Van Dijk stuff. "We respect Southampton's position and can confirm we have ended any interest in the player." That's well different.

"We respect Southampton's position and can confirm we have ended any interest in the player." That's well different. Maybe they were put off by the rumoured £60m fee. Mole_Toonfan
I'm genuinely surprised tbh, don't ever recall a team backing off never mind apologizing. Fair play to Southampton for putting their foot down.
Nobody
Reckon he'll still end up at Liverpool before the end of the window, mind.
taxfree
Reckon he'll still end up at Liverpool before the end of the window, mind. Unfortunately. Can't see it being anything other than a case of waiting it out. Perhaps waiting for that transfer request.

Liverpool wrote an apology to Fulham a few years ago after they tried to tap up Dempsey as well
Mole_Toonfan
Honestly they seem to be the only club stupid enough to actually get caught with this. Everyone does it, it's one of those rules that seemingly doesn't get enforced. Except when you are Liverpool anyway.
