Not sure if there is a realistic transfer targets thread but I would love us to get a neat ball collecting diminutive player from Spain. Seen Roque Mesa at Las Palmas a few times and love his style of play. Will be a great signing and sold off to the big boys after a season. He's class. Mole_Toonfan Posted June 27, 2017 Share Posted June 27, 2017 I would be very surprised if they buy Sanchez AND a forward tbh, i understand why they want a forward considering how wasteful they were last season and what they have currently sounds great on paper but the reality is it wasn't putting away chances last season. Spurs and Chelsea were much more clinical than they were, but buying Sanchez and Dembele is massively overkill and reeks of just doing it because you can. The rest of their supposed targets make sense IMO, they desperately needed fullbacks anyway and even more so now some have left and everyone always talk about how bad their CBs are. I don't really get this. Bournemouth made near 130m for getting 9th in the prem last season, I read we got about 7m for winning the championship. The disparity now is huge.
