Stuy_O
Point is, if Newcastle put the money on the table and showed some ambition a player like Carvalho is well within their grasp.
Elliottman
Point is, if Newcastle put the money on the table and showed some ambition a player like Carvalho is well within their grasp. But that wasn't your point? And no one in their right mind expected us to drop 30million on one player this summer.
Stuy_O
Just because we're newly promoted doesn't mean we can't go for someone like Carvalho. Of course its my point. We have the size, stature, history and the money to attract players of that ilk but one mans quest to turn us into a small club is preventing it. Shearergol
And they really need to sell Costa. Imagine being a fan of a club who can afford to get rid of Diego Costa. (Afford is the wrong word, I'm not meaning financially).

loki679
Wilshere in the Championship ? its like putting a Ming vase in a tumble dryer. He's a busted flush. Doesn't have the attitude to make it at the top level despite his talent and is a bit too fond of the extra-curriculars by some accounts.
