triggs
Instead of getting an ex football manager why don't we go for somebody who is actually capable of doing the job
KaKa
Hoddle would not stand for Pardew's horrific football that's for sure.
Disco
Hasn't been seen this the turn of the century so he certainly fits the bill.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Tbf, anyone that listened to the latest Taylor and Besty podcast with Rob Lee will have heard Lee say Hoddle was the best coach he ever worked with. What he did do is draw the line between coaching and management. If Hoddle was DoF and went about setting up a style of football that could be implemented from the kids up, I'm all for it. It'd then just be up to Mr. Fuckwit, Mr. Angry and Mr. Bald to make sure the first team follow the trend.
KaKa
Just read the article. Possibility he comes in as manager?! I'm about to keel over with joy.
EthiGeordie
Good one if true. He has brains and appetite for good football.
Shays Given Tim Flowers
Could be a good appointment as a DOF. Doubt it will happen.
captainhaircut
No qualms with this one. Talks well, very professional, likes good football, has a track record of building and developing youth. Get that one done and then a decent manager and we're laughing. KDT
I reckon he could still do a job in midfield, maybe he's the Cabaye replacement.

KaKa
He will hate Pardew. The guy detests poor football. Won't buy any of the horse dung Pardew is constantly peddling.
Wullie
Rather have Eileen Drewery as manager than Pardew.
Ashley17
I really like Hoddle, his World Cup diary is a good read if you're looking for a football book. Shame he said what he said back when he was England boss but I always enjoy his views on Sky. So passionate about the sport and developing for the future. Parky
Hoddle would not stand for Pardew's horrific football that's for sure. Hoddle has a huge knowledge base and likes attractive football.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Honestly, man. How Hoddle talks about football on Sky compared to the verbal diarrhoea that comes dribbling out of Pardle's mouth. Don't think I've ever watched Super Sunday and heard Hoddle say one side need to "get a tackle in" or bring someone on to "do some magic".
