Peppe
Jogi is so fucking weird man. Why hasn't the media asked him about this? "Why do you sniff your own groin sweat and eat boogers?" Actually, not sure I want to know
joeyt
We've got 3 games a day to watch on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday but then have to wait until 8 o clock for a game on Sunday
Nobody
We've got 3 games a day to watch on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday but then have to wait until 8 o clock for a game on Sunday Someone needs sacking for that. Disgraceful
Troll
Planned my work around the 2pm match today, only to find there isn't one. Gutted.
Minhosa
If Spain win the tournament, Iniesta would have won one major trophy for every year he's been alive. Currently has 31 and is 32 years old. Immense.
The College Dropout
I think more important than that, he'll be given more credit as one of the GOAT's. As crazy as it sounds I think he's under-rated.
Dinho lad
Lothar Matthaus is mint.

Ultimate big game player. Probably my favourite player bar Messi
Kevo
This must be the lowest scoring tournament so far!? Sick of shit finishing from the majority of teams.
Ketsbaia
Found it all pretty boring - basically any team that wins will make round two. Just a load of meh.
triggs
I think individually most of the games themselves have been pretty decent but as a whole not much exciting happening. Going back to the previous conversation about no teams setting out to attack I think people underestimate how difficult it is to attack when the opposition has 11 extremely disciplined skillful footballers behind the ball. I think we'll see plenty of attacking football once we get to the latter stages and the smaller teams are knocked out
Ally
Found it all pretty boring - basically any team that wins will make round two. Just a load of meh. Agree, don't think I've enjoyed a single game yet
TenkoDaLuz
So I was looking at the portuguese and english sides in the EURO 2000 match (3-2): http://pt.uefa.com/uefaeuro/season=2000/matches/round=1458/match=64846/postmatch/lineups/index.html God, stunning sides! Both! 1. I miss these times 2. Hard to believe that neither of these generations won a thing

M4
We were really poor and uninspired at Euro 2000. Deservedly crashed out at the group stage.
SEMTEX
Google says he was injured. Still, even mackemratboy would've been a better choice.

I think we'll see plenty of attacking football once we get to the latter stages and the smaller teams are knocked out I don't agree on that last bit. If memory serves, it's been the polar opposite of the World Cup, so far. Where in Brazil, everyone seemed to be going mental in the groups and there were some really exciting games. Then, bar Germany mauling the hosts. The knockout games were all cat and mouse, cagey affairs. As everyone was s*** scared of being knocked out. I hope you're right. As it would be awful if the games got even tighter and tactical.
Village Idiot
Official Best XI so far: http://i.imgur.com/13YlAhu.jpg Some decent and some nonsensical picks, as per usual. Ronaldo? Pretty much all of Spain's back 4?
Froggy
I'd agree with Spain's back four like, especially Juanfran. Ronaldo was shite.
Village Idiot
I'd have had Iniesta before any of Spain's back 4, and I'd have definitely hoyed Modric in there.
Hanshithispantz
I know Mustafi scored but the German defence was all over the shop.

SEMTEX
It's an opta-esque stats thing. There's no human element to it. I'm sure it'll look more sensible after 1 game. Although I'm guessing it gives points for shots, no matter how ridiculously far away from the goal they are?
