sempuki
For his age he looks very switched-on. Hope we don't ruin him.
Flip
His age is the only thing making me excited, because let's be real he's scoring goals in a shitty league. But if he can perform the whole season, than move up a division and perform there as well, then I'll be excited by what he could possibly offer us. Imagine if he develops into the type of player to play next to Mitrovic
U2
He isn't just scoring goals against league 1 defenders, he is absolutely ruining them. The lad is a genuine talent.

He's a young lad that needs games and will be playing against physical players. It will be good for him. He is quick, mobile, appears to have awareness. Problem for him is height but that doesn't have to stop him. Sick of the negative shit about our young players as if they have been given a chance. He's 18 ffs

But we have hardly given any much of a chance. Campbell went out and did nothing. We rarely loan players for a good chunk of time though tbh.

Mikky
One of his goals is superb Both of his goals were superb Yup hadn't seen the 2nd one at that point; 2nd goal was pure intelligence in terms of his second run: then the finish was sublime Really pleased for him because he got messed about last season: the more games the better he will get; add to this it also help that a manager (Mowbray) plays decent football

I get what you are saying but need to give them more than 20 mins here and there. We have had Taylor, Krul, Carroll, Dummet, Forster and Aaron's looks like he will make it. They are all average to good. We need to be producing a lot more but have to get the right setup and get on loan for a season.

By which time he'll be captaining England having scored 70 goals in 60 internationals.

ads
Such a cliché thing to say but if his first goal on Saturday was scored in the Premier League, people would be raving about it for a long time. Really pleased for the lad, he can go out and get some game time and score some goals (4 very good goals so far too).

KaKa
This guy looks very good. For a teenager to be banging in goals in any of the leagues is fantastic to me.
HawK
This lad is the most exciting kid to come through the academy that I can remember. Carroll didn't look good until that first season in the Championship, but this lad looks sublime at only 18. And I'm relieved we don't have Pardew here to see Aarons and Armstrong through their continued progression into a PL matchday squad at this stage of their development, hopefully no lasting damage done. Sho Time
This lad is the most exciting kid to come through the academy that I can remember. Carroll didn't look good until that first season in the Championship, but this lad looks sublime at only 18. And I'm relieved we don't have Pardew here to see Aarons and Armstrong through their continued progression into a PL matchday squad at this stage of their development, hopefully no lasting damage done. Carroll had scored a few goals in the Premiership before getting his real chance in the Championship and with his size especially he was built for the PL. Armstrong is obviously much smaller but when he's came on for us has looked overawed and scared to pick up the ball for me, let alone take someone on. AC on the other hand dived straight in, going up against big defenders and really putting himself about. Buffon was even coming out singing his praises. Also despite being the same age Aarons' appears totally unfazed and is happy to take someone on and put himself about in the game and has shown real talent when playing in the league. I can't see why you'd regard him as the most exciting kid to come out of the academy in recent years when he's done absolutely nothing in the 2-15 minutes he's been given to try and make a mark on the game and performed no better than Adam Campbell did for us when he was getting the run-out's here and there. I'm not saying he's going to fail and be released or owt, but at this moment in time he looks nowhere being a decent PL player and only time will tell what happens with him - It's a total 50-50 how he'll turn out at the moment IMO.
