Incognito
Looking forward to seeing Arma, as shit as relegation is, it's perfect for him. He's a classy player. We should be building the side around him.
TRon
Only 19 goals in the end then? He had that many halfway through the season.

Based on 19 goals in League One, really? You've seen him and I haven't so I'll defer, but it seems like a pretty strong statement based on tenuous evidence. He can be part of our squad, but we really shouldn't be repeating this season's mistake of relying on unproven strikers based on their potential. Every other club in the championship can do the same. We came back up last time because we held onto our core PL players.

And if your ever going to try a kid with potential, the Championship is a perfect place. He's proven with 19 for Coventry he's got something about him and no doubt Championship clubs would have wanted him on loan for next season. You're right though, we need a proven striker too. With 46 games you can rotate as you see fit to give Armstrong plenty of game time.

As it turns out Cisse hasn't delivered either, but the principle still holds - you need proven goalscorers at that level if you want to succeed. Aye but you wouldn't have said Carroll and Lovelyhands were proven at the time and they scored loads in the Championship, i do know what you mean but you'll never try a kid if you adopt the attitude you are. Leicester just won the League with players like Kante and Okazaki who were unproven Premier players. Good scouting matters and we don't have that at all, hence us buying wrong players. TRon
Lovenkrands was pretty much a proven goalscorer at lower levels like. Carroll was a real surprise I'll grant you that. In any case if Rafa stays I trust him to do what's needed. He'll definitely make sure there's a striker who can put them away as part of his team. Unfortunately I'm less certain he'll stay than I was a week ago.

Mr. Snrub
The striker Owen wishes he could have been. wat? When Owen was his age he'd already been scoring the same amount of goals in the Premier League and looked like he'd be a genuine world class striker. James
Going to try a bit of positivity - from the sounds of things he is the type of player that Rafa likes to see leading the line. So a year together with Rafa in the Championship and we would be returning to the Premier League with the English Fernando Torres.

Deuce
is he about the same height as aguero? Transfermarkt has them both at 1.73m. Think Aguero's probably a lot stronger though, particularly through the lower body. That's something Armstrong can easily work on.

HawK
It's hard to not get carried away when on YouTube every chance he gets, he scores, but the placement on most of his goals is absolutely top notch, Kane-esque almost. Reminds me of how Owen used to play when he was at Liverpool. Really hope he does the business for us next season, and if Mitrovic stays, would be a great big man/little man combo.
