Nattfare
At least in many games the cut scenes are skippable. Would be nice if we could speed up the match Football Manager style, it would look like we are playing with some tempo then at least.
Varadi
Might be a bit better now we have Mitrovic to attack them. Big problem we've had is that we just don't have any aerially dominant players. Even Pardew has got Palace scoring plenty from set pieces this year, but it helps having 2 giant centre backs to aim for.
Mike
Would be interesting/depressing to see how often we score from set pieces vs. how often we concede from counter attacks to them. Might be in our best interests to just lump them all into the stands.

xLiaaamx
No one's been able to take a half decent one since we shipped out Guthrie for free. Oh, he was miles better than this ginger fucknut btw
Guest
So good he's struggled to get a game in The Championship the last 3 years? I'm no Colback lover (in fact I don't like him at all), but Guthrie at his best in this team would be awful viewing.

They studied the stats for the book Numbers Game and: "Corners are next to worthless; given the risk of being caught on the counterattack, with your central defenders marooned in the opposition’s box, their value in terms of net goal difference is close to zero." And with our lower than average conversion rate I'd bet our net goal difference over the last 5 years is minus something.

Probably best knocking it short to retain rather than hitting front post every time.

Our delivery is also a big problem tbf It could be better, but it used to be awful even when Cabaye was here. I think having a few big players to aim for can make a massive difference. I've always been an advocate of passing football, but every team needs some aerial presence, and we just don't seem to consider this as necessary. Probably because we buy to sell rather than build a team.
The College Dropout
Apart from Mitro, a lot of our taller players are crap in the air. Sissoko, Janmaat & Obertan all suck. Janmaat at the far post is beaten too often for a fullback of his size.
The College Dropout
Still can't believe Colback finally missed a game and he was replaced with Gouffran.

Aye, Debuchy was a far more aggressive player. Janmaat doesn't seem to fond of defending when it isn't 1v1. When there's a mistake with holding the defensive line, he's often the culprit. Not on his job with runners or effectively communicating to others to pick them up. Rarely drops a bollock though, which all the others seem to have at teh front of their locker. Guest reefatoon
If it is a choice between him or gouffran in there again, Colback wins hands down. Fucking hell what a depressing state of affairs. Our midfield is shit.

Our midfield is shit. Well we do have actual midfielders who we could play instead, such as Tiote or De Jong. Bearing in mind that we already have Anita covering the defensive side of things, plus Wijnaldum in the mix. I'm not really sure why McClaren thought a forward would be the better option. Debuchy was class in the air for his size, way better than Janmaat I think Janmaat has the ability to compete in the air, just he sometimes switches off and gets caught by surprise which is infuriating. He played CB in one game IIRC. It's a shame because he's a fantastic player going forward.

SEMTEX
Fitness helps too like. I'm about 4ft3 and all I ever really do is give away free kicks, because my appetite and bravery leads me to climbing on people / pulling them down.
