I remember when Barton was training on his own (when he ended up leaving for QPR on a free) and still played for us in the opening two games. A player like Hatem on top form is the difference between finishing 7th and 14th. Imagine a three of Cabella, de Jong and HBA behind a top striker. Its a really fucking good attack. But, like many said that time, it's not problem to get rid of that bit of extra weight in let's say one or two weeks of (pre-season) training.
