I'm not saying he's the best we've ever had - because he obviously definitely isn't - but he'll be the last of the proper mint ones until things change dramatically. He was simply that good; cracking left peg, cracking right peg, good strength and balance, good vision, could thread a pass, quick-off-the-mark, could put the best defenders on their arses. He had absolutely everything apart from the required temperament or manager. Wouldn't want to see him back in the Premier League, personally. It'd hurt to see him succeed with anyone else.
