While I don't rate Gouffran, I can't say I dislike the man.

I think we all saw this coming from the start, didn't we?

Pretty good

Good

Good back-up

Works hard

Does a job

Should be up front

Shouldn't be starting

Good defending! Well played

Offers nothing going forward

Can't be mad at him, it's Pardew's fault

Starting to annoy me

Fair enough, well defended.

He does work hard like.

There's no one in the box

He looks knackered

Play him up front

Seriously shouldn't be starting

It's not his fault but he's massively getting on my tits < I was about here.

He's not even really getting back anymore

What's the point? < I'm now about here.

I hate him

Drop him

Sell him

Fuck off

Type "Ayoze Perez New" into TouYube, look for a video by CSKA4EVERVIDEOtv.

Most of his skill and goals from last season. If you can drown out the pounding techno, then feel free to admire his absolutely filthy first touch, close control and dribbling ability.

I love his desire to fight for the ball despite his size. He also has a reet cheeky smile.

Max contract length is five years, pretty sure NUFC has gone for that, particularly with a young player.

I think we've done 6 year contracts before. Sissoko was 6.5 when he joined if I remember correctly.

Mmmmm... Just checked FIFA's regulations on this:

http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/affederation/administration/regulations_on_the_status_and_transfer_of_players_en_33410.pdf

The minimum length of a contract shall be from its effective date until

the end of the season, while the maximum length of a contract shall

be five years. Contracts of any other length shall only be permitted

if consistent with national laws. Players under the age of 18 may not

sign a professional contract for a term longer than three years. Any

clause referring to a longer period shall not be recognised.

So I guess England allows longer contracts?

Looks a cracking player already with all the right attributes to be great.  Keep feet on ground and work hard and who knows.

Either way, we got an absolute bargain at c.£1.5M. Unbelievable really. One of the few things our board/senior management team deserve some credit for in getting him.

His brother plays for Blyth Spartans. I found that hilarious. Can only help I suppose.

He'll be away next summer.

When you look at the players who have left us recently, no one has amounted to much. If he stays here he'll start and be a legend.
