How does Fellaini constantly get away with it? Allen got booked for far less.

Nope Allen's was in a dangerous position. A tactical foul.

Most of Fellaini's fouls are in the opposition area. It's just the sheer volume.

:D. Does it matter what area of the field it occurs? You really do talk guff.

It does matter what area of the field it occurs like

Does it bollocks unless it's a last man scenario. Which Allen's clearly wasn't.

It shouldn't but it does. There are plenty of examples where a foul in the box is ignored, and would be given if it was in another area of the pitch.

Are you being serious? It doesn't matter where on the pitch a foul occurs?  When a central midfielder makes a foul when otherwise the opposition player is running directly on to the back 4 in a dangerous position. Yes it's a valid booking.

How long have you been following football? Your understanding of the game is terrible.

Well yeah I agree with that but I was specifically on about yellow cards.

The reason Allen made the foul was because it was a clear dangerous situation developing ffs. Herrera pinched the ball off him and was 35 yards away from goal running directly at Skrtel with Rooney in an excellent position for a pass.

Not a single Liverpool player objects the foul or card. He doesn't even react to the yellow because he knew it was coming.

How does anyone follow football for 20+ years and not understand this?

Look it doesn't matter where on the pitch you commit a bad tackle. You should be yellowed or redded for it. That's the way football has always been. If a striker kicks a centre half bringing the ball out from defence it's a fucking card. If a winger goes two footed on the full back it's a red. Doesn't matter a fuck where on the pitch it is.

Now tell me what flavour windows you have.

If a striker kicks a centre half bringing the ball out from defence it's a f***ing card. If a winger goes two footed on the full back it's a red. Doesn't matter a f*** where on the pitch it is.

You should be, but refs tend not to view it that way, and that's why Fellaini doesn't get booked as much as he should...which was the original question wasn't it?

It's a variation on the "Scholesy" rule.
