I bet it kills them inside that their moment is spoiled. For the red card, you could see Markovic look back, size his opponent up and then flick his fingers into the bloke's eye. He knew when that whistle went that that Markovic was walking. He saw the arm go out, saw the player go down and the referee reach for his pocket and he knew what was coming. To then say the ref got it wrong and suggest he didn't even see it is horrific. It's absolute bullshit. It's Pardew-grade bullshit.
