You can tell he's a good player underneath whatever the fuck this is. He has good feet, but man, so slow and that miss...ridiculous.

3 starts and written off. Classic.

Id not be too harsh about a single miss aye. I do feel he lacks the legs though, a few times he knocked the ball passed a man as if he was going to burst onto it & got nowhere near. He needs to be absolutely amazing in the air/technically or with his movement to make a difference if he runs that fast.

Hyperbolic wummery.

This man is keeping our best player out of the team when we are in a relegation battle and people are calling to continue giving this guy time to get used to the league

Aye, let's ensure he's used to it by the time the season ends and it's a clusterfuck.

Is he going to get any quicker than he is now? Genuine question for those that have seen him play for other sides.

Nope, that's a similar pace to what he had in Holland.

Perez should definitely be picked ahead of him but there's no way I'm going to write SDJ off after a small amount of games.

Despite some nice touches he just looks way too slow for the league, like he always wants miles more time than he's going to get in England.

This was what I thought when we signed him.

This is it. He's clearly not rubbish but he's not up to the pace. Much the same way colback gets caught out.

Not going to write him off just yet but like has been said when you weigh up what he brings to the team in comparison with Perez it's a no brainer. We can't afford to carry him into form when we're fighting at the wrong end of the table. We need results and we need them now, Perez is our best chance at that if it is to be one or the other.
