Balotelli had just gotten away with two fouls and we weren't getting many 50/50's so he made a statement. If anything it brought a little bit more life into the team and crowd. I very much like the look of Janmaat but it seems people here are being guilty of having short-term memories when it comes to how good Debuchy currently is. Lenny Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 The biggest indication of how I think he's doing is that I don't feel like we're missing Debuchy. Overall ability wise, they seem similar - Debuchy probably better defensively, particularly in the air, and Janmaat is probably slightly better going forward as he has better feet.
