Guest neesy111
Gave everything tonight. If we had 11 others showing for the ball like he did than we'd boss games like this. He was correct in being an arse for that call at the end of the game but for me he was by far our 2nd worst player on the pitch. He can not fucking be a right back, dimples. Ronaldo
Not a massive fan but he's the least of our worries. RB's not a problem position.

Dummett, Lascelles, Anita, Colback, Perez & Gayle were far worse for me.

triggs
Was only listening but everything we did in the 2nd half going forward seemed to go through him
M4
So lethargic and unwilling to go forward in the first half. It was Ritchie that kicked him into gear really.
huss9
So lethargic and unwilling to go forward in the first half. It was Ritchie that kicked him into gear really. its not his job to be our main attacking threat on his own. got little support first half in the opposition half. no way near our worst player today for skill or for effort. Got absolutely no protection in front of him either 1st half. His floated crosses wind me up mind, seems incapable of hitting them with any pace
M4
No begrudging him not beating players, but he was lethargic and negative in his overall play. Miscontrolling the ball, hesitant, only ever playing the ball backwards... Basically looked like he couldn't be arsed. Ritchie injected life into the game and into Janmaat. He had no choice but to keep up. It was quite comical at times even, like when he wanted to go over to take a throw in and calm things down a little, Ritchie had already grabbed the ball and chucked it to his feet

morla84
Ritchie tore into him a couple of times. Gave the ball away before their second iirc and was hauled off not long after? Same useless cross every time. Wouldn't be surprised to see Gamez to start in midweek
mrmojorisin75
Ritchie tore into him a couple of times. Gave the ball away before their second iirc and was hauled off not long after? Same useless cross every time. Wouldn't be surprised to see Gamez to start in midweek we had a real problem from the off yesterday in that the right back was looking to attack and get forward but anita wasn't playing wide/can't play wide/was told to play inside so janmaat had nowhere to go left side we had aarons who couldn't get into the game because his left back can't play football, he was then switched for anita which made things worse as aarons didn't appear capable of playing on the right and also looked inside too much (i do wonder if that's tactical)
morla84
If Ritchie wasn't fit enough to start I would have preferred to try Anita right back and Janmaat right wing
mrmojorisin75
If Ritchie wasn't fit enough to start I would have preferred to try Anita right back and Janmaat right wing said to my fatha about 15 minutes in rafa should swap them, i still think anita was instructed to play inside personally, he did it with too much regularity the entire game
Dr Venkman
Never been convinced by him tbh; another one that flatters to deceive. His good work down the flank almost always results in a crossing opportunity and he almost always puts in an underwhelming effort.
morla84
Just seems to hit it in and hope someone is there rather than get his head up and aim for someone
joeyt
He floats them in too instead of putting any pace on them. Can float them to the back post when Mitrovic is playing if he's got a run on the defenders but Gayle isn;t going to do anything with floaty crosses
Leazes_End_Mag
Hoyed his toys out of the pram after about 10mins and punted a short pass to Lascelles I think it was due to the non existent movement in front of him. Still absolutely shocking himself though.
Altamullan
I was absolutely convinced Janmaat would be offski, then it seemed he wasn't going to be. Anybody think he may be away/we've lined up some elaborate swap deal with some talented Dutch winger?
Guest
Nah, I think he's just using the squad. Wouldn't be surprised if he plays on Saturday and Anita is taken out.
Mole_Toonfan
Hopefully not, the bloke can't defend. It's not a coincidence in the slightest we went on an unbeaten run when he got injured to end last season. It's also not a coincidence that we looked so much better tonight without him, as we always do. His inability to defend and kamikaze decision making in terms of forward runs completely imbalances the team.
