3 days until the misery starts again, and what better way to kick off the season than the Sports Direct Derby?

No World Cup players or Santon, and Elliot's only back from his holidays on Monday so that'll be a treat.

Team (Subs): Alnwick, Anita (Satka 54), Dummett (Bigirimana 70), S.Taylor (Streete 63), Yanga-Mbiwa, Colback, Aarons (Haidara 63), Armstrong (Perez 54), De Jong (Vuckic 63), Gouffran (Ameobi 46), Abeid.

Goals:

14' De Jong

64' Dieng

78' Gros

First showing of our new kit?

Will be the grey monstrosity I'd assume.  Seems a bit stupid to give the new home kit it's first outing like, a month before you can actually buy it.  Then again this is nufc, it wouldnt even surprise me

Inexperienced keeper & they're further along in pre-season than us.

Anyone else going to this? Or know anything decent to go/do/see/drink at in Oldham for a couple hours before the match?

I asked a lad I work with who is originally from Rochdale just up the road what's worth doing in Oldham? He just laughed and said 'getting the tram to Manchester.'
