Varadi
I know it was only half an hour in a stretched game but last night was the first time I've seen this lad look like he might have something about him, showed decent pace and strength. Looks a lot better without that stupid hair too.
sempuki
Still not convinced personally although hope he pulls through obviously. We definitely need a goalscorer in January.

Looks a lot better without that stupid hair too. He just looks very limited, may run a bit and some strength but very clumsy / limited on the ball and don't think he will score goals. TRon
Watching Armstrong struggle to get a kick for 60 mins should really be an eye opener for critics as to how hard it is to play up front with absolutely no support. Maybe we should be less harsh on the likes of Cisse and Riviere in hindsight. I thought he looked impressive yesterday given the role he's expected to play. Newcastle Fan
Looked ok yesterday, won a few headers and held up the ball well, hope he starts turning things around as he's been utter shit since he joined.

Dave
Yet another low cost striker underwhelms. Cheap strikers are cheap for a reason. Youngsters like Perez aside (doing far better than anyone could imagine), it's the one position where you have to spend money if you want results. We won't, the end. Edit: forgot to mention striking lucky with free transfers nobody else wants.

Youngsters like Perez aside (doing far better than anyone could imagine), it's the one position where you have to spend money if you want results. We won't, the end. On the other hand we could've easily had Ba and Remy for less than £10m combined.
Pilko
I've had more positive impact on this football match than this cunt has, simply by sitting in my pants eating Doritos and shouting "fuck off man" at the screen every so often.

Pilko
Armstrong offered more attacking threat in about 15 minutes than this cunt did in over an hour. He's hopeless, I hate him.
