The College Dropout
If he is to play, he should play with a strike partner. He has the composure of a 14 year old virgin however which will always be poor
sugoinufc
he is very average, but even the very best would struggled in this team / attack. but also think he could do much better with a big forward partner
The College Dropout
Would like to see him alongside Cisse. Rivière can be a nuisance, I hope he can create some space for Cisse.
TRon
Apparently Mark Hughes wanted to buy him but he wasn't interested in going to Stoke. I have a feeling he'd probably look a better player there than here.

Parky
Not a lone forward. Needs a proper striker to play off...Has a bit of pace and can dart here and there. Could still turn out okay in a proper set up.

AyeDubbleYoo
Very few strikers can play on their own effectively, still less in a team that offers no support from anywhere at all.
Varadi
I know it was only half an hour in a stretched game but last night was the first time I've seen this lad look like he might have something about him, showed decent pace and strength. Looks a lot better without that stupid hair too.
sempuki
Still not convinced personally although hope he pulls through obviously. We definitely need a goalscorer in January.

Looks a lot better without that stupid hair too. He just looks very limited, may run a bit and some strength but very clumsy / limited on the ball and don't think he will score goals. TRon
Watching Armstrong struggle to get a kick for 60 mins should really be an eye opener for critics as to how hard it is to play up front with absolutely no support. Maybe we should be less harsh on the likes of Cisse and Riviere in hindsight. I thought he looked impressive yesterday given the role he's expected to play.
