leffe186 Posted August 3, 2014 Share Posted August 3, 2014 By this stage of preseason wouldn't you normally expect to see something resembling your starting XI (I know they played yesterday), or is it all about fitness, and if so, why give starts to the likes of Obertan who is unlikely to feature much anyway? It's a bit weird to be playing these matches so close to each other so late. You really have to play makeshift teams. We did it earlier in the preseason and just have the Celtic match and the Schalke match spaced out so we can have the same team in both.
